Social Services Overview

These 3-half day trainings combine field trips with guest speakers to allow employees to become familiar with Butler County community resources.  Participants will tour facilities, meet agency staff and get up to date information about services, eligibility, referral processes and fees. Attendance at all 3 sessions is required. Participants are welcome to bring a sack lunch to eat during the event.

As a result of this event, participants will:

  • Understand the social service delivery system in Butler County
  • Make better referrals
  • Develop relationships 
  • Better serve families and children

Who Should Attend: Butler County agency employees or volunteers who are newly in a role in which they assist families/consumers in accessing social services. This event is limited to 40 participants.
