and ethical technology use.
-Provide practical suggestions and strategies for enhancing children’s safety
with technology.
-Provide specific takeaways/resources to implement.

Workshop 2- The Nuts and Bolts of Kids’ Online Safety: Understanding the pitfalls of online act. This session will provide an in-depth exploration of the specific challenges children face online, including cyberbullying, digital drama, gaming, and social media.

Objectives:
-Enhance understanding of the online spaces that children frequently visit.
-Differentiate between cyberbullying and digital drama.
-Offer practical solutions for addressing gaming challenges.
-Examine the benefits of parental controls, monitoring software, and starter phones.

Trainer: Liz Repking, Cyber Safety Consulting. Liz created Cyber Safety Consulting with the mission of providing educational products and services to students, educators, and parents as it relates to digital citizenship, Internet safety, online education strategies, and related social emotional issues.
